Job Title: NTI Career Services Staffing Specialist
Locations: Goodwill North Central Texas - 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Work Hours: FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.; (evenings and weekends as needed)

General Job Duties:
Identify best practices in the field and incorporate new ideas into partnership and placement opportunities. Receive inbound calls from prospective employers and graduates seeking employment assistance; Follow-up on employment leads and set appointments to discover prospective employers needs and overcome objections; lock-down prospects for commitment, evaluate daily activity against standards and personal sales goals.
Responsible for developing and maintaining employer database and employment referrals for graduating students; track and document employer and graduate activities throughout hiring process routine follow-up with employers and graduates to assess the effectiveness of candidate matching obtain new employer contacts in person or by telephone, arrange for employers to visit the classrooms; generate job leads and job openings with local businesses throughout assigned Service Area.
Responsible for managing assigned caseload which includes but not limited to; getting clients ready for employment, helping clients overcome barriers by working with students and graduates to obtain ‘in field’ career placement within 30 days of program completion. Coordinate and conduct scheduled resume preparation, interviewing techniques, job search/research, and other career development sessions in the classroom, assist with preparation and attend Orientation, Graduation, Program Advisory Committee Meetings and Special Events (i.e. Job Fairs and Student Appreciation days and obtain student and graduate success stories.)
Job order development is in line with Graduate employment plan. Maintain and develop up-to-date job openings on a weekly basis, at a minimum of 3 per unplaced graduates. Identify job openings which align with the student’s career objectives, develop external sites. Update job orders, and accounts in Clarity Soft in a timely manner; document all activities for clients and employers within 24 hours of event occurring; complete EVF and TWC Completer Form; create frequent statistical and narrative reports.
Employment Verification and Retention calls at 30, 60, and 90 days. Execute high volume of outbound calls to employers and graduates; follow up on employment leads to accurately track and report employment engagement. Safeguard company property (including donated goods) and employees. Report any incident of accident, theft, fraud, waste or unauthorized possession of company property to your manager immediately. Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, Program, and/or mission.
SKILLS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or Marketing with a minimum of two years of similar experience required. Know how to perform internet research, work with word processing and spreadsheet applications, update and maintain employer databases and build relationships with customers, vendors and staff. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with other team members. Bilingual a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
Due to established performance factors/goals, this position must be able to work at a fast pace in order to achieve outcomes. The incumbent may be in an office environment for approximately 50% of the time with the remaining time working with clients and attending outside community functions/meetings related to the job responsibilities. It is to be noted that the incumbent must be able to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc., in the process of performing their job function and be able to provide own transportation to off-site. This position requires the incumbent to have communication capabilities, via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology.

Documentation to satisfy I-9, Valid State-issued Driver’s License and ability to pass drug screen, and criminal background check.
