Day to Day:
Our client is looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to join their team! The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting the financial systems assigned to them. This role involves maintaining a thorough understanding of these systems to provide top-notch technical support, identifying and implementing process improvements based on customer needs, and troubleshooting and supporting clients with systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned financial systems to ensure effective technical support
- Identify and implement process improvements based on customer requirements
- Troubleshoot and provide client support for financial systems and applications
- Understand the functions performed by the finance team and the general functionality of financial applications
- Act as a technical liaison for the finance team on IS and business projects
- Create and maintain system procedural/training manuals and communications
- Manage system access and licenses
- Assist with ad hoc data requests
- Lead system patches, upgrades, and new implementations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of system support or 3-5 years of finance/accounting experience with involvement in projects/implementations or upgrades
- Financial system/application troubleshooting
- Experience with any system patches, upgrades and new implementations
- General knowledge of interfaces
- Know what an interface record is
- Know how records come in from one application to another
- Strong Excel and some MS Access
Compensation:
$_83,000__/yr to $__85,000__/yr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
