The Clinician will be responsible for providing standardized screening, assessment, service planning and referral services for family members who are interested in receiving Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) services at the Attleboro Family Resource Center (FRC). The Clinician shall ensure that all Family Members experiencing CRA-related issues are connected to services that meet their individual needs and shall ensure that there is a process established to provide information and referral and direct assistance where possible for individual Family Members.
Typical responsibilities include:
· Work as a team with the Family Partner to:
Describe CRA-related services to family members experiencing CRA-related issues and ask if they want to participate voluntarily in the CRA-related services offered by the Attleboro Family Resource Center. If family members choose to access CRA-related services, the following services will be provided:
- Complete CRA Screening and Intake;
- Administer a modified Child & Adolescent Needs and Strengths and Strengths (CANS Assessment for family members experiencing CRA related issues called the FAST)
- Develop a Family Support Plan;
- Work with family members experiencing CRA-related issues to arrange referrals and follow up;
- If family members choose not to participate in an intake and screening for CRA-related services, encourage them to participate in the Basic and Network Services offered in the Attleboro Family Resource Center;
- Provide and assist with support groups if the need is identified and the Family Resource Center is unable to find proper support among partner agencies;
- Participate in Attleboro Family Resource Center staff meetings, community meetings and events.
- Maintain confidential clinical case records and a Family Support Plan, to be reviewed on an annual basis, or as needed, by appropriate Family Resource staff, EOHHS, DCF and the ASO.
- Attend Taunton & Attleboro Juvenile Court for CRA hearings on the specified days determined by the courts.
- Completes required documentation in a timely manner, adhering to the highest professional standards.
- Facilitate evidenced based groups approved by DCF and as per FRC contract.
- Participate in group supervision with the Attleboro FRC team, individual supervision with the Program Manager and clinical supervision with the Director of the Mental Health Clinic.
