Part-Time Behavioral Health Professional (BHP)
A sign-on incentive of up to $1000! $500 after 90 days of employment, and an additional $500 at one year.
The starting base wage is $18-20/hr.
Mask wearing is required in the family home due to a medically compromised child.
Daytime weekday hours available working with a 5 yr. old male with autism. Fourteen hours are available per week. 4 weekdays from 9:00am-12:30pm. Family is seeking a staff person available to work a consistent schedule. Wearing of a mask is required in this program.

Affinity's BHPs provide in-home and community support to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. BHPs work one-on-one and in a group setting with individuals (s) on challenging behaviors, social skills, personal care, daily living skills, and community integration.

Job Requirements:
- Good driving record and reliable transportation with valid inspection/registration.
- GPS Monitoring in the vehicle if transporting for an activity.
- Vehicle insurance liability requirements of $100,000/$300,000.
- Ability to complete BHP training within one year from the hire date.
- Positive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to complete online documentation using several computer applications and systems. This will require the use of a smartphone and GPS enabling.
- Organized.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Education Requirements:
- Over age 18 with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Preference is given to those applicants with BHP certification or experience working with children.
