- Assist in overseeing and managing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and adherence to legal and ethical standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practices and technologies
Experience
- RN or LPN license in current good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing administration or a related leadership role
- Strong knowledge of acute care, Medicare regulations, hospice care, and resident rights
- Proven experience in nurse management, including supervision and performance management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals
- In-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology for effective documentation review
- Infection Prevention training and experience
