We are seeking a full-time IT Manager to lead our IT team in supporting our engineers and management. The IT team enhances productivity and security for our engineers, scientists, technicians and machinists by implementing and maintaining systems. Your primary responsibilities will include directing a technical team, maintaining existing systems, developing new ones and resolving escalated issues. This role offers significant growth opportunities, with the expectation that you will tackle any challenges that arise.
In this role, you would be responsible for supporting all users of Solvus Global’s information technology systems. Support will include:
- Meeting with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate priorities
- Developing plans and activities based on an Agile project management system
- Orchestrating purchasing of new and renewing hardware, software and services
- Implementing workflow improvements on platforms such as Airtable, Zapier and Excel
- Resolving escalated issues
- Accurately maintaining hardware and software inventory
- Following prescribed policies, techniques and procedures
- Leading new and ongoing technology projects
This will be a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, a strong team drive and an ability to self-start. The ability to communicate well orally and in written form is critical for this position.
Required Attributes & Skills
- Must be a US Person according to FAR22 CFR 120.15 -US Person
- 2+ years IT management experience
- Microsoft Windows 10 experience (using and administering)
- Microsoft Office 365 with Office Applications – Teams, OneDrive, Office apps
- Familiarity with US Government contractor security compliance; namely related to DFARS, NIST, and CMMC
- Airtable or similar database experience
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work with and without supervision, from the office and from home
- IT skills
- Deploying software updates
- System troubleshooting
- Strong customer service skills
