Position Overview:
Two Roads is looking for dedicated Sales Manager to join our winning team. This position is the account and consumer facing contact for Two Roads Brewing Company within Hartford, Tolland & Windham county. The goal of the sales manager is to increase sales in their territory by identifying new distribution opportunities and fostering the growth of existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for craft beer and will represent the TRB brand to consumers, accounts and our wholesale partner.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years in the craft beer industry or related beverage sales experience

Direct selling experience in CT
-
Candidate must reside in the CT preferably in Hartford county

Must be 21 years of age or older
-
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within the state-wide territory
-
Proficiency in word, spreadsheet applications, VIP/iDig preferred
-
Detail oriented and self-motivated
-
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with out-of-state team members, accounts and wholesalers

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Build account base by targeting new or non-buying accounts
-
Foster growth of accounts to increase sales
-
Work with territory team and wholesaler to identify opportunities
-
Identify and communicate chain opportunities to chain team
-
Create target lists and collected data to build routes that target opportunities
-
Be the direct representative from the brewery to the consumer in designated territory

Plan, organize and represent the brewery at public events
-
Plan and execute on-premise events with focus on fostering supportive relationships with accounts
-
Conduct off-premise tastings to support accounts and interact directly with consumers
-
Achieve planned sales and distribution goals

Give direct feedback to manager and team on accounts and distributor relationships

Provide management with weekly report to recap previous week and summarize plans for the upcoming week

Conduct wait staff/ bartender educations

Ensure proper merchandising on and off premise

Track and monitor progress in all accounts using Lilypad
-
Create and maintain profiles for all accounts using Lilypad

Work with distributor brand manager and team to promote sales, brand awareness and consumption

Execute all administrative responsibilities in a timely manner

Host retailers and distributors at the brewery

Participate in wholesaler work-withs in territory

Working Relationships:

The Sales Manager must work independently, as well as with their wholesalers, to identify new opportunities.

Sales Managers report directly Regional Manager and collaborates with the Sales Department leaders, chain team, and marketing team.
