The Department of Neurobiology is seeking a Part-Time Faculty member to provide direct mentoring, coaching, and advising to assist students in achieving academic success specifically focused on supporting students in their preparation for certification and licensure examinations.
This position is dedicated to equipping students with the necessary tools and strategies to prepare for the NBME Step 1 and Step 2 examinations and other professional licensure examinations as needed.
This person will serve as the course director for the Directed Studies course for students needing to delay or retake the NBME Step 1 exam. In addition, this person will provide oversight and monitoring of the year-long Step 1 Prep Curriculum for medical students that have elected the Alternative Pathway Program.
This position will also work with students in the Master of Science in Medical Science program on MCAT test-taking skills and strategies.
The person in this position will also have an appointment in the Department of Neurobiology to include student support and teaching responsibilities in Neurobiology. This position will have a pivotal role within our institution, dedicated to supporting the academic success and professional development of medical and other professional students.
