Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of work necessary to install, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment processes and structures in Injection Molding facility.
- Observing and testing robotic equipment to identify malfunctions and determine necessary repairs.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctioning robotic equipment.
- Designing and executing maintenance procedures for automated systems.
- Receive daily assignments and work with minimum supervision.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, circuitry, pneumatic and hydraulic issues when and where required.
- Building, installing, testing, or maintaining robotic equipment or related automated production systems.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area and clean up after job is complete.
- Performs skilled maintenance activities including fabrication, welding, brazing, soldering, torching and plumbing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
- Utilize line diagrams, schematics and troubleshooting matrix’s as well as updated line diagrams and schematics when changes are made.
Experience:
- High school diploma or (GED)
- Preferred diploma/certificate in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or Industrial maintenance related course/or if no formal training at least 3 years of on the job training and/or apprenticeship.
- Good mechanical, problem solving, analytical, and supervisory skills.
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations with multiple equipment/press calls at times and be able to multi-task and prioritize while keeping a good attitude in support of all facility processes to get parts to our customers.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must have a working knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical (circuitry) and of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.
- PLC experience is a plus
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
Physical Requirements
- Lifting fifty (50) to seventy (70) pounds.
- Repetitive bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, standing and sitting, with or without accommodation.
