We are seeking a motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative with a strong automotive sales background. The role involves expanding our car dealer network in California for our auction app, requiring extensive travel and independent work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand new business in your territory.
- Identify and sign up new accounts through in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails to drive incremental growth.
- Utilize CRM daily for reporting and tracking purposes.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers and dealer groups to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Stay informed about competitors and develop strategies to sell against them.
- Provide customers and prospects with a comprehensive understanding of our products through a consultative selling approach.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding promptly and accurately to issues, concerns, or needs.
- Manage and be accountable for the financial performance of your book of business.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of dealership experience, either in the used or new car sector.
- Experience selling to dealerships and auction knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel daily to both existing and prospective dealerships.
- Understanding of the retail/wholesale marketplace in an operational context to best position Bidbus.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, both in-person and over the phone.
- Understanding the importance of building internal and external networks to enhance personal effectiveness.
- An upbeat and positive demeanor.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and assist others in doing so.
- Experience using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) to maintain and plan the sales pipeline.
- Ability to travel for meetings, training, etc.
Compensation:
This position offers a base salary plus commission. The base salary ranges from $42,000 to $92,000 annually, with additional commission earned on every new account signed up and vehicle purchase.
