Position Summary:
Maintains facilities and surrounding environment of care. Responds to maintenance request tickets generated from staff to mend hazards as they arise. Works with residential facilities to ensure that they are presentable and in good repair. Helps clean and update residences when wear and tear occur. Maintains electrical systems and appliances at residencies and environment of care. Ensures that all safety systems, electrical systems, building structures, appliances, and so forth follow applicable regulations, and in the degree of repair that clients deserve. Works directly with Maintenance Coordinator on a variety of developmental and logistical projects, insofar as their relevance to the position.
**Duties:**
- Regularly inspect and maintain facilities to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Address any hazards promptly by repairing or replacing damaged items.
- Collaborate with staff to address maintenance requests efficiently.
- Work closely with residential facilities to maintain their appearance and functionality.
- Ensure that residences are presentable, clean, and in good repair.
- Address wear and tear issues promptly, such as painting, flooring repairs, and minor renovations.
- Maintain electrical systems within the residencies and the overall environment of care.
- Regularly inspect and service appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Ensure that safety systems (such as fire alarms, emergency exits, etc.) are in compliance with regulations.
- Monitor building structures for any signs of deterioration or safety concerns.
- Work directly with the Maintenance Coordinator on various developmental and logistical projects.
- Provide input and support relevant to the position’s responsibilities.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
