As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the guidance of a behavior analyst to implement behavior management strategies and provide behavioral therapy. Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior management strategies and interventions as directed by the supervising behavior analyst
- Conduct one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Record and track client progress and behaviors during therapy sessions
- Assist in creating and executing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the behavior analyst and team members to ensure consistent and effective treatment
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records following HIPAA regulations
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills in behavioral health
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques and principles of behavioral therapy
- Familiarity with special education practices and terminology
- Ability to follow care plans and implement interventions effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail
- Capability to collect and analyze data for progress monitoring purposes
