Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 per year total compensation package.

Purpose:
Oversees and supports overall enterprise initiatives in the areas of technology-related product/service selection, set-up, support, communications, and data protection to enable and assist employees in efficiently completing their work. Monitors and ensures up-to-date, effective hardware and software applications are in place and employees are properly trained in their use. Attracts, retains, and assists with development of IT department staff. Oversees optimization of support activities and relationships with third party technology service providers.
Responsibilities:

Ensures maximum uptime of mission critical applications and supporting infrastructure throughout the enterprise.

Manages the phone system infrastructure and ensures flexibility and operational consistency through the enterprise.

Communicates, enforces, and monitors IT department processes to ensure employee and customer satisfaction.

Creates and maintains digital security safeguards and back up protocols throughout the enterprise to safeguard internal and customer data.
- Ensures compliance with data security requirements from key suppliers and regulatory agencies.

Manages the inventory and deployment of hardware and software solutions through the enterprise.

Supports internal HelpDesk systems and resources to minimize user downtime and optimizes operational efficiency.

Escalates technology installation and support issues to appropriate dealership, partner, and vendor personnel as appropriate.

Creates annual IT department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives.

Coordinates purchasing new technology solutions including computers, servers, cell phones, software, etc.

Maintains knowledge of current technology and stay abreast of new technological advancements in order to provide cost effective solutions for the company.

Oversees administration of all user IDs and passwords, grants clearance to systems and applications as appropriate

Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position.

Assists with the development and training of department staff and completes performance reviews with them
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
-
5+ years’ experience in IT leadership preferred; 15+ years of overall IT experience
-
Demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics
-
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience required

Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced retail environment
- Well-developed analytical skills as a means to drive proactive, creative solutions

Experience with network infrastructure design, development and support
- Must be physically able to perform minor lifting of equipment, climbing or crawling to install equipment and run cables and occasionally long periods of time sitting at a workstation

Can be based out of several GreenMark locations

Must be willing to travel to company locations in southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana
