Job Summary
S. Martinelli & Company is seeking a forward-thinking and strategic Human Resources Manager to support all our employees within the organization. This true hands-on role requires a person who is capable of being a trusted advisor to management and an advocate for our employees. This position will effectively partner cross-functionally through teamwork and collaboration to deliver value-added services to management and employees. To be successful, a candidate will need to be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Job Functions

Lead a team of 3 members who support enhancing our employee experience, HRIS needs, and benefits.

Partner with leaders to understand the business and develop an approach which will strengthen culture, improve performance, and enhance employee engagement.

Provide exceptional service levels to the organization and instill those expectations in the rest of the team.

Partner with other Human Resources team members, as well as other departments, to seamlessly administer the various Human Resources processes and programs.

Coordinate Human Resources interactions cross-functionally with other teams, including Finance/Payroll and IT.

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and business reporting capabilities with the HRIS.

Ensure the consistent application and approach of our programs and policies.

Advise business leaders on execution of performance management and talent management processes to promote a culture of high performance, continuous growth, and development.

Assist management in evaluating performance of team members, providing guidance regarding coaching, counseling, and development. Ensure employees have the right skills, tools, and talents to perform their roles, and that the business has the right talent in the right roles.

Collaborate with hiring managers as well as other Human Resources team members to maintain a strong focus on employment onboarding and the new hire experience.

Manage the resolution of complex employee relations issues, lead investigations of employee complaints and partner with the Senior Director, Human Resources when needed. Advise and counsel management regarding appropriate disciplinary actions to create consistency and mitigate legal risk.

Maintain knowledge of Human Resources industry trends and new employment related legislation and communicate policies, procedures, and program revisions, as necessary.

Analyze Human Resources data to proactively identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.

Foster an environment of continuous improvement and constantly seek ways to improve workflow and processes.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or Finance with an emphasis in Human Resources preferred.

Confident, business savvy leader with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including managing other Human Resources professionals, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.

Working knowledge of Human Resources systems, tools, and processes (examples: ADP WFN and GLINT).
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
-
Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities.
-
Strong attention to detail.
-
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
-
Ability to manage confidential data and maintain data integrity in our HRIS.

Upon meeting eligibility requirements, the Company offers the following: health insurance coverage, LTD, 401(k) profit share contributions, paid sick leave, paid vacation leave, and eight (8) paid holidays per year. Eligible employees may also make 401(k) elective deferral contributions and may elect a co-pay plan for health insurance coverage for eligible dependents.

Pay range: $120,000/yr. - $145,000/yr.
