Onward Search needs a Senior Brand Social Manager for a streaming service client. In this role, you will spearhead and oversee pivotal projects, particularly focusing on social strategy, creativity, and implementation tailored to the client’s standalone necessities for a unified app experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong collaborative abilities, adept communication skills, and a meticulous eye for detail. You'll play a pivotal role in partnering across functions to ensure that messaging and creative content resonate clearly, captivatingly, and succinctly with consumers.
This is an 8-month project opportunity working in-office 2-3 days per week in Santa Monica, CA.
Pay rate range: $46-$51 hourly
As a Senior Brand Social Manager you’ll:
- Lead the Brand Social team strategically, shaping social initiatives for campaigns and solidifying processes to enhance team efficiency and efficacy.
- Take charge of the brand social campaign for a launch and one-app experience, devising proactive and reactive plans of substantial strength.
- Serve as a focal point for social-related queries and concerns related to your assigned projects.
- Forge close collaboration with the paid social and media teams to guarantee synchronization and effectiveness between creative content and media investments.
- Operate as a cross-functional teammate, actively engaging, listening, and collaborating with internal teams to align with the company’s overarching marketing strategy.
- Inspire peers and contribute to developing innovative, pioneering experiences and content that will drive social discourse and amplify brand preference.
- Generate groundbreaking ideas to craft unparalleled social content experiences for special projects, taking bold, unconventional approaches.
- Regularly analyze key performance metrics, offering necessary recommendations for enhancements.
Skills & Experience needed:
- 8+ years of social media marketing and strategy experience within a media/entertainment brand, network, studio, or advertising agency.
- 2+ years in a managerial capacity leading social media teams and agencies.
- A portfolio showcasing impactful social media campaigns with demonstrated success in strategy, ideation, and execution.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative working style, and the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead cross-functional teams toward achieving objectives.
- Proficiency in managing external agencies, partners, and talent independently.
- Experience presenting campaigns and results to external talent, partners, and internal senior executives.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and adeptness in prioritization.
