VES, LLC seeks a DevOps Engineer to assume responsibility for the development of end-to-end solutions in support of a DoD client. This position can be performed remotely, however there will be occasional travel to the work site in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
The DevOps Engineer will:

Follow Agile and Scrum best practices.
- Maintain JIRA task log.

Utilize the suite of DevSecOps tools including JIRA, Confluence, Nexus, GitLab.
- Maintain strong configuration management for newly developed software features.

Participate and Contribute to Command Post Computing Environment Integration Events so that stakeholders are able to integrate and test their capabilities in the Tactical Application Branch's System Integration Lab

Develop and maintain devops processes for supporting internal application builds, deployment of applications into virtual infrastructure, and status reporting on build and deployment processes
Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 3+ years of experience.
- CompTIA Security +

Must have Current Secret Clearance or have the ability to obtain (US citizenship required).

Experience in Agile software development (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, DevSecOps).

Experience scripting utilizing Python, YAML, Powershell, Bash, or Shell.

Experience with Docker, Puppet, or Terraform infrastructures.

VMware vCenter/ESXi experience.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience with GitLab and Jenkins

Experience utilizing Jira for task tracking and Confluence for documentation.
- Linux Administration experience with CentOS/RHEL 6,7, or 8

Windows Administration experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2012R2/2019
