Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced bilingual Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen culinary operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire kitchen staff, ensuring quality food production, maintaining inventory levels, and upholding food safety standards. As a Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks and food preparation workers
- Oversee food production processes to ensure high-quality dishes are served
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed-Us Foods and Trio Supply
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement menus in collaboration with the chef
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to the kitchen operations
- Train new kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
-Mange labor weekly, daily as well as food cost and inventory
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
-Bilingual communication enabling direction, accountability and interaction with entire team
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
-US Foods system for order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in catering services is advantageous
-Schedule writing to meet labor goals
