Foertsch Group is seeking a talented Project Manager.
The Project Manager is responsible for cost control and schedule on the project, while coordinating onsite activities with the project superintendent, and safety and quality personnel. Experience in Heavy Civil and Marine Construction Projects would be preferred.
· Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Construction Management or similar technical training/experience.
· Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently.
· Track project's progress, and define and maintain the project's schedule.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager within the construction industry.
· Proficient with MS Office suite of tools and have had exposure to scheduling software.
· Should have working knowledge of Project Supervision including but not limited to all aspects of project planning, team supervision, problem resolution and site Safety and Environmental Compliance.
· Must have prior responsibility for project financials (profit/loss).
· Prior experience managing a construction team.
· Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent problem-solving skills.
· Self-motivated, very good verbal and written communications, interpersonal, decision-making and team building skills.
· Ability to use Autocad and or other drafting software platforms is a plus.
· Ability to travel up to 50%.
Project Manager - Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
· Monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks, and provide solutions to problems.
· Oversee project budgets and financial reporting and identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Provide strategic direction, leadership, and mentor team of construction professionals.
· Foster a collaborative work environment and ensure clear expectations among team members.
· Implement QC measures to meet and/or exceed industry standards.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
· Serve as the primary liaison between the Client and project stakeholders and provide updates.
· Overall management of successful projects to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost controls are being met.
· Assist site management with arranging sub-contractors and suppliers.
