Lecturer in English. We invite applications for a lecturer starting August 2024. We are a growing, lively, engaged, collaborative department offering a BA and an MA in English and a PhD in Rhetoric. Teaching load is 5/5, primarily consisting of two co-requisite pairs (linked 1003 and 1013) focused on integrated reading and writing skills. Upper-division and graduate courses are possible as the schedule, candidate experience, and departmental needs allow. The position is renewable – assuming good performance. The successful applicant will be ABD or have the PhD in hand by August 31, 2024 in English, Rhetoric, or a closely allied field; be prepared to teach engaging online courses; and will contribute to service in the department.
