Position Summary
The duties of a Customer Service Representative are to greet and listen to customer requests and concerns. A customer Service Representative develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handles appropriately and in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Greets customers in a professional and friendly way
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns
- Obtains customer information and determines need for various types of vehicle repair
- Verify extended warranty or factory warranty prior to customers appointment
- Research information on problem repair orders
- Follow-up with technicians about vehicle status
- Keep customers updated on vehicle status
- Arrange and coordinate loaner vehicles, when applicable
- Processes customer payments
- Assisting colleagues and other employees with administrative duties
- Stocking shelves, and perform other clerical duties
- Establish and maintain customer profiles
- Maintain inventory and supplies
- Perform accurate company-required recordkeeping
- Correspond with outside vendors for payment
- Prepare receipts and shipping documents
· Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior experience with customer service a plus
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
