Dining Director
We are seeking a Dining Director for a premier senior living community who is committed to providing exceptional experiences for our residents. Our focus is on delivering high-quality dining services in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dining Director to lead our culinary team and enhance our residents’ dining experience.
Job Overview: The Dining Director will oversee all aspects of the dining services, ensuring that residents receive exceptional meals and service. This role requires a leader with a strong culinary background, familiarity with senior living, knowledge of CMS regulations, excellent management skills, and a passion for hospitality. The Dining Director will be responsible for menu development, staff training, budgeting, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Planning: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design diverse, nutritious, and appealing menus that cater to residents’ preferences and dietary needs.
- Team Management: Lead, train, and develop the dining services team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Resident Engagement: Interact with residents to gather feedback, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and exceeds expectations.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the dining services budget, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-control measures without compromising quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all meals are prepared and presented to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute special dining events and themed meals to enhance the overall resident experience.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years proven experience as a Dining Director or similar role in an upscale senior living community or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, required.
- Ability to build a cohesive team and negotiate relationships with other department heads.
- Strong culinary knowledge and experience in menu planning and execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of nutrition and special dietary requirements.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen and TB test.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
