POSITION OVERVIEW
We are hiring for an immediate opening as Bulk Plant Manager in our Wholesale Fuels Division. The Bulk Plant Manager is a seasoned professional responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operations of a bulk plant facility. This role involves managing inventory, collaborating on servicing new accounts, coordinating logistics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading a team of employees. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, in-depth knowledge of bulk plant operations, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety and productivity. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operations Management:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of the bulk plant facility.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of bulk materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and train a team of plant personnel, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, drills, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Implement corrective actions and improvements to enhance overall safety performance.
Logistics Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate transportation logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any transportation-related issues to minimize disruptions.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of bulk materials.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve product quality issues.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ensure that the bulk plant operations align with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Interface with regulatory agencies as needed and manage inspections.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous relevant management experience
- Fuel Piping License, CDLs and Hazmat a plus
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills and abilities.
- A track record of delivering measurable results.
- Strong communicator with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Passion for Automation, Technology and Process Improvement
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work under critical deadlines
- Proven experience in bulk plant operations with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology for operations management

Pay: $68,148.00 - $75,552.00 per year
