Sandblast and prepare fabricated metal products for painting.

Apply various industrial coatings, including Vinyl and Coal Tar, to metal products.

Work in confined spaces to apply industrial coatings.

Read and understand technical documents such as paint mixing procedures and application guidelines.

Maintain and clean spraying equipment daily using solvents or other recommended cleaning solutions.

Keep the paint mix room organized and adhere to company safety policies.

Assist in rigging large objects for coating application.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Follow safety rules and report equipment malfunctions to the proper authority.

Perform other duties as instructed by supervision.

Minimum of one year of experience as an industrial painter.

Ability to operate overhead and jib cranes, manlifts, and forklifts.

Capable of interpreting instructions in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime in a heavy industrial environment.

Physically able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Preferred: Experience operating sandblasting equipment and using airless and conventional spray equipment.

Preferred: Experience spraying Vinyl and Coal Tar systems.

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme heat or cold, wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
