Responsible for overseeing all Nurse Practitioners in the designated region. Serves as liaison between staff and facility administration. Promotes and supports productivity of staff. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assumes day-to-day accountability for the delivery of quality services by direct supervision of assigned staff and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Provides oversight to the Nurse Practitioners, including the hiring and onboarding process
- Serves as liaison between staff and administration.
- Promotes and monitors development and productivity of staff/financial targets
- Manages clinical teams to implement quality initiatives.
- Monitor documentation and coding to achieve revenue accuracy
- Promotes and maintains collaborative relationships with the NPs and nursing home staff.
- Participate in quarterly strategic planning with leadership.
- Develop solutions to challenges and barriers of clinical staff.
- Cast the proper leadership shadow to both internal and external partners.
- Motivate and inspire their team to drive the company’s mission
Travel responsibilities:
- Regular visits to each facility in the designated region
- Visit to facility at time of onboarding a new NP
- Visit to new facility at time of facility interview
Communication
- Bi-weekly calls with each Nurse Practitioner, discuss encounter audit and productivity from the
weekly report.
- Weekly calls with NPs needing performance support
- Weekly meeting with Director of Operations
- Weekly call with Management; primary and wound
- Monthly correspondence with each facility
- Weekly calls with Clinical Consultant
- Weekly Recruiter check in
- Weekly format with Director of Operations
- Weekly Report created from Gehrimed
- Discussion of each NP productivity, discuss Audits and Encounter productivity
- Onboarding process for each new NP
- Review business/clinical strategy plans.
Manager Job Qualifications
1. Proficient Computer skills/EMR
2. Previous clinical leadership experience preferred
3. Previous experience in managing external client relationships
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Strong business acumen
License Requirement
1. Certified NP with unrestricted license in practicing states
