Human Resources Generalist/Office Manager
Concise Care Group is a fast-growing, LA based Case Managment agency looking for a high energy Human Resources Generalist/Office Manager who is ready to grow with our company. This role will help continue to strengthen our culture and values, implement tools and resources for engagement, and drive career development. This person must be the trusted, knowledgeable, go-to resource who will develop and maintain relationships with our employees, managers and leadership teams to drive success.
Responsibilities:
- Support current and future business needs through the development and implementation of strategies for employee development, engagement, motivation and retention. Lead employee relations.
- Provide guidance to supervisors for employee counseling, coaching, warnings and performance improvement plans, and termination recommendations.
- Responsible for a variety of compliance and administrative duties relating to personnel functions and programs in the areas of recruitment, benefits and leave administration, payroll, risk spotting and prevention.
- Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys, provide actionable insights to improve employee experience, organize team building activities.
- Resolve employee relations issues timely and through a systematic approach.
- Perform full cycle contractor and employee recruiting activities including sourcing, interviewing, negotiating and extending offers for all levels of roles.
- Maintain personnel files, performance documentation and other required employee paperwork in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Continuously review and update employee handbook.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for assigned roles, including posting job ads, running background checks for new hire onboarding.
- Prepare and distribute final checks.
- Manage company compensation and benefits ensuring plans are in accordance with company policies and legislations, as well as assist in annual salary reviews.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of all legal requirements and government regulations pertaining to HR functions. Manage and develop HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
- Manage the overall operations of our office and storage facilities.
- Define and manage all onboarding best practices, as well as conduct orientation for new employees with the objective of delivering an exceptional first day, first week and first several months experience.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field such as business administration, organizational psychology, sociology or human resources.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proactive and take-charge attitude with the ability to work as a team as well as independently.
- Excellent ability to multitask and maintain a high level of organization.
- Must enjoy teaching and willing to provide hands-on experience.
- Knowledge of relevant employment-related legislation and regulations.
- Any of the following HR certificates preferred, but not required: CPLP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SP.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and G-Suite. Experience with Gusto is preferred.
