JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within the assigned region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the dental laboratory industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the region.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales tactics.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dental professionals, including dentists, orthodontists, and dental clinics.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct regular visits to current and potential clients to present products, address concerns, and close sales.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities and customer interactions.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company’s products.
Knowledge and Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the dental or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
