Position Overview:
Under the leadership of the Subscriber Services Manager, the Special Projects Programmer - Radio is responsible for coordinating multiple projects, by clearly identifying priorities from project kickoff through successful customer deployment. While supporting public safety radio programming of portable and mobile radio communication equipment, mobile computing platforms, broadband modems, and associated cabling, wiring, and antenna systems. Additionally, this position will be expected to perform technical duties as required to meet customer support requirements.
Job Duties:
Coordinates multiple projects, clearly identify priorities, and monitor workflow from project kickoff through successful customer deployment.
Lead and Monitor Radio Management programming, maintenance, clone, and asset folders.
Serve as Quality Control Back up as needed by the department.
Coordinate cache requests. Maintain inventory and accountability of all Radio Cache equipment and data base.
Coordinate modem activation/updates and sim card activation.
Serve as EAM/MCM administrator and Trainer.
Mentoring: instructs and trains Radio Team members on radio system and subscriber (mobile and portable radios) programming, functions, and troubleshooting.
Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the position.

Education:
Experience:
Four to eight years’ experience using work order management and Motorola CPS software.
Four to eight experience programming and installing advanced public safety radios.
Three to eight years’ experience coordinating
Knowledge, Skill & Abilities (KSAs):
Strong attention to detail, organizational efficiency, and a focus on accuracy.
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
Experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
Training and experience using personal computers with a variety of software productivity and asset management tools.
Ability to successfully interact with diverse teams and customers, even in trying situations.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
