What are we looking for?
We are seeking a creative, problem-solving Network and Systems Integrator who has a passion for building and maintaining security systems and integrating a variety of technologies. The Network and Systems Integrator operates in a fast paced environment, acts as a technical subject matter expert, and is a critical component of enhancing the security posture in U.S. overseas locations. The position is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with government and industry experts to defend our nation and to travel the world!
In this position, you will apply your network centric skillset to the configuration, troubleshooting, and commissioning of overseas networked Technical Security Systems including:
- Layer 2/3 Network Appliances (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
- Intrusion Detection Systems, Emergency Notification Systems, Automated Access Control Systems, Closed Circuit Television/Surveillance Systems, Video Management Systems, and Environmental/Power Monitoring Systems
Additionally, the Network and Systems Integrator will:
- Learn, understand, and be able to configure new systems as technology evolves
- Provide onsite training to end users on all integrated systems
- Provide remote troubleshooting and assistance to end users
- Understand and follow project designs/schematics
- Complete required project documentation and ensure project as-builts are accurate
- Travel internationally 50+% of time
Required Background and Skills:
- U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering (Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Networks, or similar field). Education may be substituted with 5 or more years of relevant experience and 2 or more security or networking related certifications
- Understanding of basic Windows operating system tasks (regedit, cmd prompt, tasks, UNC paths)
- Active Directory and DNS
- Command line interface
- SSH and Telnet Clients
- Understanding of IP Subnetting and Network Topologies
- Device configuration via Web GUI
- Cable terminations (Cat5/6, Fiber)
- The U.S. Government requires medical screening/examinations for this position. Candidates will receive a contingent offer based on successful completion of government medical requirements
Preference given to candidates with the following:
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- CISCO CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
- Juniper Certifications, Palo Alto Certifications
- CompTIA Network+ Certification
- Genetec Security Center CertificationSoftware House CCure 9000 Certification
