Summary
The Junior Account Executive is responsible for developing, promoting, and selling products on behalf of the manufacturers Lawless Sales Group represents. The Junior Account Executive is also responsible for achieving sales revenue and profit goals by managing the overall customer experience and service. The Junior Account Executive will work closely with other Sales Representatives, marketing, and Category Managers to develop/ execute sales strategies and programs and communicate appropriate market trends and field intelligence. This position plays a key role in representing Lawless and all the individual manufacturers daily by providing customers with the most professional and consultive selling experience possible by creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer?s engagement.
This position is a remote position with up to 15% travel outside of local territory for meetings, and customer visits within the assigned territory. This is a high pressure sales role, with targets and performance metrics being central to the role. Must be willing to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends when necessary.

Duties

Assist the President in growing the Lawless brand by proactively generating new accounts by marketing, networking, cold calling, referral, and other sales techniques.

Implement key marketing initiatives such as new product launches, promotions, and programs.

Utilize internal/external CRM tool to report on all activity including, but not limited to promotions, campaigns, sales calls, and conversion daily.

Utilize the CRM to enter tasks, opportunities, contacts, and other pertinent information daily to ensure up-to-date and accurate information on the funnel and all other activity is accounted for in salesforce.com.

Ability to generate market leads and close new deals.

Be distributor facing, active on end user jobsites, prospecting, conducting sales calls, identifying opportunities, and giving presentations including hands on demonstrations.

Analyze trends and results to implement successful marketing strategies.

Proactively listen to and understand the customer?s needs and identify viable solutions and business opportunities.

Obtain and maintain excellent product knowledge to present full product line.

Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends. Supply and demand, and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix.

Follow guidelines for service levels, develop relationships and provide appropriate service to our customer base; expedite market acceptance of new, derivative, and current products within the portfolio of manufacturers with the appropriate level of customer Intimacy (CI)
Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor?s Degree preferred.

Demonstrated track record for past sales growth.

Industrial and/or construction outside sales experience

Experience in a fast-paced, team, and customer service environment.

Must reside in the Austin and or San Antonio Market
