About the Position
Parents Anonymous® Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and culturally responsive Vice President of Finance and Operations. The Vice President serves as an Executive Team Leader overseeing fiscal systems and operations supporting the delivery of Evidence-Based Parents Anonymous® Programs to ensure well-being and family strengthening for diverse Parents, Children and Youth. The Vice President of Finance is an executive management level class, which oversees the Agency's finances. The VP of Finance is responsible for the financial transactions, record-keeping, accounting, compliance with governmental accounting, and administers the Agency's budget.
Specific Job Duties
- Oversee all financial functions for the organization. Including program allocation and billing for each program the Agency holds.
- Plans, manages, and oversees the daily functions, operations, and activities of the Agency's payroll, GAAP, internal controls, program budgeting, finance and accounting functions, including preparing, monitoring, forecasting, and analyzing financial information, financial processing, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Manages and participates in the development and administration of the Agency's annual budget; directs the forecast of additional funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; directs the monitoring of revenue and approves expenditures; directs and implements adjustments as necessary.
- Develops and standardizes procedures and methods to improve and continuously monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of assigned programs, service delivery methods, and procedures; identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations to the CEO.
- ·Utilize Smartsheet to document all responsibilities, deliverables, results, and timelines to achieve S.M.A.R.T. Parents Anonymous® operations.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10 years of relevant experience is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Must have some experience working directly with diverse Parents, Children & Youth up to 25.
- Must embrace and reflect the Mission, Vision, and Principles of Parents Anonymous® Inc.
- Must embrace the philosophy and theory of change of Parent Anonymous® including mutual support, parent leadership, shared leadership®, and personal growth and change.
- Must have well-developed computer skills.
- Must be culturally responsive, responsible, and seek assistance from supervisor when work challenges arise.
- Must have a smartphone. Must have a working vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
