As a Bottling Line Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment used in the bottling process. This includes monitoring the machinery, ensuring product quality, and following safety protocols. You will work as part of a team, rotating and learning all positions to meet production goals efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Operate Machinery: Run and monitor the bottling line equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, and packaging machines.
Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards. This includes checking fill levels, cap seals, labels, and overall product appearance.
Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery, such as cleaning, lubricating, and making minor adjustments. Report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve basic equipment problems to minimize downtime. This may involve adjusting settings, clearing jams, or replacing parts.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. This includes wearing proper PPE, following lockout/tagout procedures, and participating in safety training.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, downtime, and any quality issues. Complete required paperwork as necessary.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as packers, warehouse staff, and supervisors, to coordinate production activities and achieve daily goals.
Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the work area clean and organized, including removing debris, spills, and waste. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or bottling environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating machinery and basic maintenance tasks.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move equipment for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
The pay rate is $22.00-$26.00 DOE
Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-5:00pm
