The ideal candidate will have:
· A strong, demonstrable track record in service of industrial imaging systems or similar technological products
· An interest in learning about and supporting high performance cameras in many dynamic working environments
· A high level of comfort working with IP-addressed hardware/software and MS Office programs
Position Responsibilities:
- Install, provide training, maintain and repair customers’ Kappa camera systems
- With support from Kappa, troubleshoot software, hardware and electronics issues
- Maintain good communication between Sales and Service departments
- Write visit reports, quote spare parts, maintain equipment records and communicate and follow up on open issues
- Provide onsite service support as called for in the territory of USA and Canada
- Travel is approx. 40% field service and 60% home-office based technical support
- Majority of travel is primarily in the Northeast region
- Supervisor opportunity: Junior field service colleague will report to this position
Preferred Experience/Background:
- Undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred: 2-3 years of experience
- In place of a degree: 3+ years of demonstratable field service experience
- Direct experience in the industrial imaging or Power Distribution markets a plus
- Comfortable with a hands-on approach to instrument diagnostic and repair work
- Sales skills and experience a big plus

- Flexibility in work hours – occasional weekend travel – short notice travel
- Clearance and willingness to travel extensively within USA and Canada
- Comfortable working at heights or elevated platforms
- Professional presence that represents the company’s image to customers and partners

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
