Job Purpose:Perform Medical Front Office duties to develop and maintain positive experiences and relationships with all patients in accordance with company policy.
Job Description and Duties:
- Manage the front desk.
- Appropriately answers and directs telephone calls.
- Verifies insurance accurately.
- Collects 100% of date of service payments.
- Checks patients in for appointments and out after appointments
- Properly schedules appointments and records in EMR.
- Manages medical records and to obtain 99% accuracy.
- Keeps front desk organized.
- Upholds company standards of safety for self and for patients.
- Ensures patients have a positive encounter with the practice on every occasion.
- Maintains regular, consistent, and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health procedure.
- Fully understands HIPAA regulations and application to patient privacy.
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper usage and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
- Adheres to professional standards of orderliness and cleanliness for self and work area.
- Files data and performs other routine clerical tasks as assigned and for other departments as needed.
- Performs reception duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner.
- Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
- Understands billing policies and procedure for answering patient questions and concerns.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
