Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing and maintaining PLC programs using RS Logix 5,500,5000, Factory Talk,Wonderware. Edit and maintain HMI applications. As an Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes through automation technologies.
This is a 3rd shift, 11pm-7am role and pays rewardingly for it
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation solutions to improve production efficiency
- Program and troubleshoot robotic systems such as Fanuc
- Conduct root cause analysis for automation-related issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate distributed control systems
- Utilize robotics for lean manufacturing practices
- Create and interpret schematics using AutoCAD
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in robot programming, including Fanuc systems
- Familiarity with CGMP standards for manufacturing environments
- Experience with SolidWorks for designing automation systems
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis
- Knowledge of distributed control systems and their integration
- Background in robotics and lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to read and interpret schematics using AutoCAD
