POSITION SUMMARY:
Blaze Media's production company is hiring an experienced Video Editor at our Dallas, TX location. This position will be tasked to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches our show host's vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for various platforms

Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards

Perform multi-cam editing for live events as well as pre and post productions

Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects

Create and design graphics for videos

Manage and organize video assets and archives

Create rough and final cuts

Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running

Consult with stakeholders from pre-production to post-production process

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video editing and production

Assist with social media content creation and management
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Minimum 7 years experience as a video editor

Experience with Adobe video suite is required

Experience with V-Mix a plus

Control Room experience preferred
