RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and execute tax compliance activities for individuals and businesses, including tax planning and projections, tax research, resolution, and correspondence.
- Navigate complex tax laws to provide insightful guidance.
- Support on special tax projects and initiatives, collaborating closely with staff, clients, and management.
- Expertly review diverse tax returns, ensuring accuracy.
- Manage accounting processes and crucial reporting for clients.
- Foster strong client and team relationships to fuel success.
- Mentor and develop talent, shaping a high-performing team.
- Collaborate on growth strategies with partners, driving innovation.
- Maintain timely and effective communication for seamless operations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Certified Public Accountant certification is required.
- Minimum three years of experience in public accounting.
- Well-rounded accounting background.
- Research-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, financial systems, and data analysis.
- Excellent understanding of GAAP & financial reporting standards.
- Experience with risk assessment, internal controls, & compliance testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
