SUMMARY
The Group Facilitator at INFINITI GROUP LLC is responsible for providing group counseling to persons with substance use disorders, which complies with current professional and regulatory standards for the profession. This dynamic, internally-motivated professional will oversee the emotional and behavioral well-being of our clients by establishing rapport, systematically gathering data, applying accepted criteria for diagnosis of substance use disorders, and developing and/or implementing comprehensive strength-based group material. Collaborates with other behavioral health team members in treatment planning by applying specialized skills, knowledge and experience of human development and behaviors and social, economic, and cultural systems in directly assisting clients, families and groups to improve or restore their capacity for social functioning. Provides group counseling with the use of psychosocial interventions and psychotherapy, documents services in the clinical record and engages in inter-departmental care coordination. Demonstrates commitment to, and application of, professional code of ethics for his/her credentials/professional status.

Age of Patient Population Served: Adult (18 & older)
Population Served: Persons meeting DSM5 criteria for substance use disorders with or without co-occurring psychiatric illness

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledge regarding the disease concept of alcoholism/drug addiction. Experience in working with dually diagnosed clients.
- Performs other duties and tasks as required.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education, Training, and Experience Required:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with persons with substance use disorders.
- Prefer individuals who have maintained at least three (3) years of sobriety (if in personal recovery).
- Current CPR/FA certification
- Current TB Clearance
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Has thorough knowledge of clinical assessment methods and individual and group therapy techniques, and thorough knowledge of residential treatment programs.
- Good facilitation skills that enable them to participate as effective team members in a treatment program.
- Understanding of human behavior and the processes required to facilitate change.
- Must have excellent writing skills as well as the ability to produce comprehensive narrative reports including measurable objectives.
- Must have excellent skills in verbal communication as well as good organization and time management skills.
- Must have familiarity and competency with the computer (i.e., emails, client data entry, etc.).
- Must be customer service oriented with a professional attitude.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand or sit for extended periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
The job requires frequent contact with water (hand washing and cleaning) and working with body fluid and hazardous chemicals. When under these working conditions, OSHA standards and universal precautions must be followed at all times.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high volumes of stress.
