Senior Account Coordinator Position
Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000
We are currently seeking a seasoned and dedicated Senior Account Coordinator with extensive experience in employee benefits. This role demands a dynamic individual with a strong customer focus, adept at leveraging resources and personal skills to nurture enduring client relationships. The primary responsibilities involve providing comprehensive support throughout clients' annual product selection, renewal, and implementation processes, serving as a pivotal point for ongoing account assistance. Client portfolios for this position span diverse industries, with sizes ranging from 300 to 2,000 employee lives covered by benefits.

Primary Functions:

Oversee the client census process, ensuring the acquisition of all necessary information and analyzing enrollment data for submission.

Create renewal/proposal analysis (Spread) using proposals obtained from carriers and vendors.

Track and monitor progress, field questions, and review carrier quotes for accuracy to RFP specifications.

Co-facilitate the enrollment process with Account Executives/Managers as needed.

Maintain client records in the agency database and file systems.

Request and monitor the delivery of renewals from carriers.

Provide backup support for the customization of the Employee Navigator portal.

Support Account Executives/Managers with the implementation of new lines of coverage and carrier changes to ensure smooth launches and transitions.

Assist with the preparation of communication and proofreading of materials for both internal and external purposes.

Manage file feed setup with 3rd party vendors and carrier partners.

Attend client functions and key meetings as necessary.

Prepare benchmarking reports for existing clients.

Communicate with carriers and vendors pre-post sale/renewal.

Handle service and compliance issues with clients and carriers.

Provide customer service for client human resource personnel and employees by answering benefit, billing, and service questions and working to effectively resolve issues.
Required Skills & Proficiencies:

Demonstrate current industry-specific product knowledge.

Possess Arizona Life, Accident, and Health licenses, and maintain CE Requirements.

Exhibit agile computer and internet navigation skills, implementing current best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

5+ years of experience in employee benefits or a related industry.

Intermediate to advanced math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage calculation.

Professional demeanor and personal presentation, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to present to large groups and C-level executives.

Analytical and intuitive with the ability to balance both appropriately.

Project management and coordination experience in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrates a high level of organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Proven deductive reasoning skill set with the ability to identify, interpret, and solve complicated problems.
