About This Job
Dragonfly Designs is currently seeking in-person instructors to teach our Summer Art Camps Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. In addition, we host Corporate Events and weekend Birthday Parties. In the fall, we teach afterschool enrichment classes on school campuses around the Bay Area from approximately 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM. This is the perfect job for college students looking to work in the afternoons and on weekends, as well as art students looking to share the joy of teaching their art medium(s) and learn new forms of art.
In our in-person classes, camps, workshops, and events, you’ll teach various techniques, including but not limited to beading, tie-dye, wire work, seed beading, painting, watercolor, macrame, dyeing, sewing, weaving, bookbinding, embroidery, batik, and more! Do you have another specialty? Let us know! It's not necessary to specialize in these techniques; we'll teach you! Please bring your love of working with guests of all ages and art & creativity.
You’ll facilitate relationships and collaboration between students while teaching them skills they can use for years to come. At Dragonfly Designs, we invest heavily in our staff’s training and development, and we are looking for long-term staff dedicated to our mission.
Our home-based Art & Shipping Studio is located in South San Francisco. Many of our local teachers also work in our studio preparing kits, organizing the studio, and setting our worldwide team up for success by handling the behind-the-scenes logistics needed to serve our clients successfully.
