Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or a closely related field) from an college or university.
- Masters Degree is a plus.
- 0-3 years of experience with focus on design of stormwater improvements.
- Exposure to hydrologic and hydraulic computer programs such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, CUHP, SWMM, storm drain/culvert/open channel design tools.
- Experience with Open Roads Designer and AutoCAD Civil 3D is a bonus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.
- Interest and ability to obtain a Professional Engineering (PE) license in Colorado once experience requirements are met
Required License or Certification:
- Active Engineer Intern (EI) designation in Colorado or another state
Base salary range for this position is: $70,000/yr - $85,000/yr dependent on individual education, qualifications, experience, and other factors.
