As a Construction Loan Specialist at One Community Bank, you will play a crucial role in managing construction loan activities alongside the Construction Manager. This position focuses on overseeing various construction loan types, including residential, mortgage, and commercial loans. Collaborating with loan officers and closers, you will meticulously review construction budgets to ensure alignment with loan requirements. Your responsibilities will include reviewing draw requests, matching them to budgets, and ensuring accurate processing of draws.
Additionally, you will work closely with loan officers to address any discrepancies or budget shortages, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service for our clients.
To excel as a Construction Loan Specialist at One Community Bank, candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction loans or banking. Proficiency in the entire construction loan process, including reviewing budgets and approving draws, is essential. The role requires the ability to collaborate with lenders on change orders and address any overages effectively. Knowledge of construction loan regulations, policies, and procedures is crucial for success in this position. Strong problem-solving skills are a must, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools to effectively manage loan documentation and communications.
