We are seeking an energetic and motivated clinical leadership professional to join our Outpatient Services team as a Clinical Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for directly supervising a team of clinicians ensuring the effectiveness of their services by providing clinical supervision following all regulatory guidelines. In partnership with the Outpatient Administrative staff, you will provide comprehensive program oversight to include areas such as training, program development, ongoing professional development, and relationship building with schools, county, and government agencies.
This is an office-based position that does go into the community for periodic observation of clinical staff, clients, and a variety of meetings or training. Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm; however, accessibility for your assigned staff for clinical and supervisory contact during hours that outpatient services are being provided is required.
What Do I Need?
Education and Experience
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (Required)
Have at least 2 years of supervisory experience (Required)
AND
One year full-time postgraduate experience in the provision of mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and meet one of the following:
Has a graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum.
Has an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE) or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
Other Requirements
- You be able to proficiently use “typical” office equipment, including but not limited to, personal computers with a basic knowledge of a variety of software applications, fax machines, copiers/scanners, calculators, and phones.
- You will possess a valid driver’s license and able to travel as needed.
- You will pass the required clearances.
- You will exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and be a team player as well as be extremely effective independently.
- You will possess strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with an excellent attention to detail.
- You will demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with a strong decision-making capability along with resourceful, forward-looking thinking that actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
- You will have a proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, adapt to various competing demands and manifest a superb level of customer service and response.
What Will I Do?
- You will ensure that IBHS staff are supervised in accordance with agency policies and procedures as well as those of regulatory entities and provide clinical oversight with supervisory accessibility during the hours IBHS is offered.
- You will work in conjunction with the IBHS Administrative Supervisor to make certain that program benchmarks are reached and quality, clinical services are administered.
- You will complete and document clinical record reviews and outcomes as required in order to achieve excellence in IBHS performance and assure compliance with Chapter 5240 - Intensive Behavioral Health Services Regulations.
- You will make sure that mandatory training for staff is rendered.
- You will facilitate and attend staff meetings and other team meetings, as necessary.
- You will maintain a caseload, which will fluctuate depending on program size.
Hours of Work
This is a home and community-based position with workdays and hours based upon the needs of the client.
Must be available additional hours beyond the normal work schedule to include evening and weekend hours as job duties demand.
When working remotely, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance requirements must be met for all in-home equipment setups.
