ALABAMA GLASS WORKS is immediately hiring someone full time to join our TEAM and work our front desk operations, along with performing administrative tasks. You will be the first point of contact for our company.
Duties include answering phone calls, greeting walk-in customers, interacting with rental agencies and property owners and creating work order requests. Additional duties include quoting customers and assisting in scheduling our daily jobs.
A pleasant, upbeat attitude is a must, as well as being self-motivated. You must be detail oriented. You should be able to complete daily tasks in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining front desk operations. Multitasking and project management skills are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate product information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily deliveries
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as scanning and filing
- Providing quotes and estimates daily via phone and email
Skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
