Position Summary:
To carry out lab work following standard protocols according to department needs. The employee will work independently and within teams in the execution of routine lab procedures, as well as to help sustain the functionality of the lab through regular cleaning, stocking inventory, and maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:

Ability to proactively plan inventory in advance of activities.

Safely handle client compounds

Support complex research projects.

Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions.

Maintaining radiation safety

Skilled at handling biochemical assay components (enzymes, substrates, reagents, etc.)

Proficient with customer source plate production and making serial dilutions.

Advise junior lab personnel on procedures and basic techniques; may serve in supervisory role for junior personnel.

Ability to assist in the interpretation/troubleshooting of anomalous results with guidance from supervisor.
Key Qualifications:

PhD with 0-2 years of experience in biological, biochemical, and/or pharmaceutical sciences; Master of Science degree with > 5 years’ experience; Bachelor with > 7 years’ experience

Proficiency in lab setting

Over 7 years lab experience or equivalent

Skilled with use of most lab equipment

Strong capabilities in Microsoft office suite

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
