The V: Premier Group Fitness is a well-established nutrition and fitness company. Our business is growing and we are looking to add another nutrition and fitness coach to the team. At TheVFit we empower clients to make health a way of life through behavior modification and a phased approach. The V: Premier Group Fitness has helped thousands of clients around the world to lose weight and improve their overall health. We work with athletes and adults to achieve optimal health.
Description of Nutrition role:
We're looking for a self-motivated, highly energetic professional who understands the nutritional needs for a wide range of people, from clients who want to lose weight to those who are building muscle for athletic pursuits. The ideal candidate will have a background in sports, fitness, and nutrition as well as a service-oriented attitude.
Tasks:
- Meet with clients individually to create a customized plan with them
- Follow-up with clients throughout the month to ensure they are on the right track
- Help with creating nutrition content
- Publish one blog post monthly on nutritional habits and practices for our website
Skills and requirements:
- Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified preferred but not required
- Experience working with sports nutrition
- Willingness to learn TheVFit system and software
- Completion of the HSN Training Course once hired
Work schedule: Flexible based on your availability. Starting with one day per week. You will set hours of the month.
Salary: $10-20 per hour, a percentage of off-site events
Description of Fitness roles:
We are seeking a motivated, experienced CrossFit Coach to complement our team and meet our growing demands. The amount of classes is dependent on the individual and experience level, anywhere from 4-15 classes per week and will expand as demand increases. The coach will also have the opportunity to become a Nutrition Coach that'll offer additional revenue as well as more opportunity.
Primary Functions
- Coaching CrossFit group class
- Other coaching options available- Nutrition Coaching , Personal Trainer, etc
- Be an ambassador for the gym at all times
Requirements
- Must be a “team player” and be willing to spend time in and around the gym
- Coach minimum of 4 classes each week
- Fluent in English language
- Strong communication skills that are well articulated to members at all skill levels
- Flexible coaching availability: weekday (morning and evening) and/or weekends as needed
- Constant pursuit of expanding knowledge both formal and informal
- Desire to form strong relationships with coaches, owners, and members
- Highly motivated and responsible
- Basic use of MS word, MS excel, Adobe, email
Qualifications
- Must have current valid CrossFit L-1 Certification within 30 days of start date
- Current CPR/AED Certification (preferred)
- Preference given to additional CrossFit (L2, L3) or other accredited certifications (NASM, CSCS, ect.)
- Preference higher Education in Exercise Science, Dietetics, Physical Therapy, other related
Experience
- Preferred 6mo coaching experience with CrossFit group fitness classes
- Preference for additional personal training or sports specific coaching
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
