Job Summary: The EPIC Electronic Medical Record TDR Team Leader/Supervisor will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of technical professionals during the technical dress rehearsal phase of the EPIC Electronic Medical Record implementation. This individual will ensure the successful execution of the TDR testing process by managing the TDR team, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing status updates and reports to management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of technical professionals during the TDR phase of the EPIC Electronic Medical Record implementation
- Ensure the successful execution of the TDR testing process
- Work closely with project managers, technical architects, and other stakeholders to coordinate TDR testing activities and ensure project milestones are met
- Provide guidance and direction to team members, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and are performing their tasks effectively
- Develop and maintain TDR testing plans, schedules, and documentation
- Identify and communicate risks and issues to management, and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies
- Provide status updates and reports to management on the progress of TDR testing
- Collaborate with the training team to ensure that end users are fully prepared for go-live
- Serve as a subject matter expert on TDR testing and contribute to the overall success of the EPIC Electronic Medical Record implementation
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in technical project management or leadership roles, preferably in a healthcare or related industry
- EPIC certification as a technical professional or equivalent experience strongly preferred
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record implementation and TDR testing strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel, as required
