The General Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. They must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. The General Maintenance Helper will perform miscellaneous repairs such as minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky fixtures and faucets. Other duties may include tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. They will perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. The General Maintenance Worker must follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete all required safety training and certifications deemed necessary.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct general maintenance preventative maintenance duties in plumbing and electrical areas.
- Performs maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures following SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies.
- Paints structures, drywall, and plaster; performs masonry work and repairs plumbing fixtures and woodwork.
- Maintains and installs electrical systems and fixtures.
- Reassemble machinery in a new location and troubleshoot to meet standards.
- Work on rooftops climbing ladders and utilizing power tools such as drills, sanders, and saws.
- Troubleshooting conveyor system parts, including pneumatic devices, electronic devices, motors, and PLCs.
- Exercise technical proficiency in using ladders, scaffolding, brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, robotic, and PLC-driven equipment.
- Install complete electrical, plumping, watering, and HVAC systems to ensure high efficiency, safety, and performance of portable greenhouses.
- Operate specialized equipment to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse floor.
- Light diagnostics, A/C repair and heating repair, and tune-ups.
- Lead forklift certification program.
- Other duties as assigned.
