Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual (Spanish) Paraprofessional to join our Dual Language program. The successful candidate will assist in classroom settings under the supervision of certified instructors. Responsibilities include supervising various areas such as classrooms, washrooms, playgrounds, before and after school, as well as general oversight of the cafeteria, library, hallways, and other instructional settings within our dual-language classrooms. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Hours
35 hours a week, 7 hours a day- Elementary Schools
8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with a 30 minute duty free lunch

Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish Required

- Excellent Communication Skills
- Basic Computer Knowledge
Physical Demands:
- Ability to read and communicate effectively with employees of the district.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, visual, and verbal form.
- Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel, or operate objects or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- May be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 20 pounds.
