We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a new restaurant, bar and lounge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting and managing the front of house team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Furthermore, the FOH manager will be fully trained to assist the BOH and General Manager, as needed.
Duties:
- Supervise and lead the front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Coordinate with the General Manager & kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service
- Oversee reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries
- Train new staff members on company policies and procedures
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor equipment maintenance
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Goal oriented and goal driven, you will be able to operate within labor and cost of goods parameters.
Skills:
- Proven experience in team management within a hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food service management practices
- Familiarity with banquet, catering, and bartending operations
- Proficiency in interviewing, training, and scheduling staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle food safely and oversee food production processes
- Understanding of restaurant management principles
