We have an immediate need for a Fitter/ Welder. Must be able to read and understand drawings, lay out, performs fitting and welding, requiring substantial knowledge and skill on a variety of tools i.e. drills, saws, overhead cranes, lift trucks and other miscellaneous equipment.
Some of the work that you will do:
- Safety: All employees are to properly use all required person protective equipment, follow all safety guidelines and instructions and work to maintain and improve a safe work environment.
- Fitting of complex components with understanding of welding procedures and technics for efficiency throughout the process.
- Welds various types of metals and alloys in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions for high pressure and strength requirements, Welders operate MIG welders to weld parts in set fixtures.
- Works independently to specifications from instructions, prints, drawings, and personal knowledge.
- Pass a welding certification, preferable in a 6G position.
- Fitter/Welders are responsible for routine daily maintenance and upkeep of their equipment (weld gear, MIG welder, etc.).
- Fitter/Welders are expected to produce quality parts which meets our quality standards. They must be able to inspect other work and their own work as they go. Welders are required to rework or touchup welds before passing parts to the next workstation.
- Clear communication and detail orientated.
- Other duties as requested or assigned.
- Anticipated Work Hours: 10 hours is considered a normal workday. Expected to arrive on time every day and complete issued tasks.
Here are the skills that you need:
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: Three to five years (3-5) experience in the welding field
- Dual Shield (FCAW) and Hard Wire (GMAW) experience required.

- Tig Welding GTAW
- Testing 6G position
